El Arte (VeA) exemplifies what the combination of
theatre, youth and magic can
accomplish. Magic because VeA has molded itself into a rare and unique organism.
VeA is a family …an extended family united and connected
with a sense of purpose and dedication …a dynamic family of youth that laughs and cries together. VeA, which celebrated its 10th anniversary
last year, grew
out of Nueva Generación (New Generation), Res. Lloréns
Torres first youth theatre group started by Emilio
Reyes. One of its promising young students,
Antonio
Morales, brought VeA into being after Emilio's
departure. Philosophically, the group is based on the
principles of equality, justice, service, the
elimination of prejudice and discrimination, and unity
in diversity. One part of VeA’s mission is to use the
arts as a vehicle for highlighting what is going on in
our society. You see

Por Amor En El Caserio,
a masterfully written
and directed play by Antonio.
Another aspect of VeA is the focus on developing human
potential and creating an environment for individual
self improvement.In your family, allow your
children to become involved in the arts. In your
community, encourage and support the youth. Start a
